Airport Alive is a 30 minute television program highlighting information about Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. The program host is well known New Orleans iconic news anchor and beloved media personality, Angela Hill.
In this edition of Airport Alive, we spotlight Aviation Board Member, Doug Thornton, who provides an overview of his role on the Board as well as an update on the new North Terminal Project as Chair of the Construction Committee. We also visit with Kristi Bennett-Holmes, the airport’s business development officer, who gives us the latest on new air service at Armstrong International. Sayed Mekhemar, general manager for Delaware North, makes a special presentation to St. Michael Special School’s principal, Tish Sauerhoff, and tells us more about their community outreach efforts. We also hear from Edgar Chase, joint venture partner for Delaware North, who tells us more about new concessions opening at Armstrong International. Finally, we hear from Sari Koshetz, the public information officer for TSA, who provides helpful travel tips and an inside look at TSA’s lost and found department.
