In this edition of Airport Alive, we showcase the groundbreaking of the new North Terminal, including an interview with Mayor Mitch Landrieu after the event.Then we speak with Director of Aviation, Iftikhar Ahmad, who describes some of the changes implemented that helped the Airport set new records in 2015.Later in the show, Business Development Officer, Kristi Bennett-Holmes, reports on the Airport’s most recent accomplishments in terms of new and expanding air service for 2016.And finally, Aviation Board member, Roger Ogden, talks about the work he and fellow Board members have done and continue to do as the Airport begins construction on the new North Terminal.
