New Orleans Airport, Condor Airlines Celebrate One Year of Service from New Orleans to Frankfurt, Germany - 5/18/2018 -

NEW ORLEANS – On May 17, 2018, the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) and Condor Airlines celebrated one year of service from New Orleans to Frankfurt, Germany. In 2017, Condor Airlines flew more than 16,000 people on 90 flights between MSY and Frankfurt International Airport (FRA). Seasonal service returned May 17, and will continue through Sept. 30, 2018 with twice-weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays.

Condor Airlines is celebrating its one-year anniversary in New Orleans with a special fare from MSY to FRA for $299.99 one way or $499.98 round trip available for booking May 17-20, 2018. Fares are subject to availability.

"I am thrilled to celebrate a successful first year of flights to Frankfurt. Condor Airlines provides an important connection for the people of New Orleans to Europe and vice versa. The City is excited to welcome the many new international visitors who will fly into New Orleans from Frankfurt as we celebrate our 300th anniversary,” said Mayor LaToya Cantrell.

The Frankfurt International Airport is a hub for Condor where passengers can seamlessly connect to more than 120 cities in the Eastern Hemisphere at exceptional rates through Condor’s extensive network of partner airlines. Flights on Thursdays will depart New Orleans at 6:25 p.m. and arrive in Frankfurt the next day at 11:10 a.m.; on Sundays, flights depart New Orleans at 6:05 p.m. and arrive Frankfurt the next day at 10:50 a.m. Returning flights will depart Frankfurt at noon on Thursdays and arrive in New Orleans at 4:05 p.m. the same day; on Sundays, the departure is at 12:20 p.m. with arrival in New Orleans at 4:25 p.m.

Condor provides a superior passenger experience onboard its 259-seat Boeing 767-300ER. Service is offered in three classes, business, premium, and economy. In each of its three classes of service, Condor provides complimentary checked baggage, beverages, meals, and in-flight entertainment for all passengers, and Condor now offers TSA Pre-Check for passengers departing from New Orleans, which provides more convenience. Business Class passengers have access to priority check-in, as well as reclining seats and a five-course meal onboard the flight. Premium Class features added legroom, leg rests, and adjustable headrests plus premium meals and more onboard the flight.
