Lauderdale, Houston, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Flights and vacation packages are currently available for sale at www.spirit.com.

"Our Airport is growing by leaps and bounds, and we appreciate Spirit Airlines' contribution to that growth,” said New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu.

"The Aviation Board has been committed to lowering airline costs at Armstrong International, which creates more opportunity for new air service,” said Cheryl Teamer, New Orleans Aviation Board Chairwoman. "We are thrilled to see Spirit's continued growth in New Orleans.”

"Atlanta is a popular market for our region, and Spirit's launch of new service will provide a new low cost travel option for our community,” stated New Orleans Councilman Jared Brossett, Chair of the Transportation and Aviation Committee.
