United Airlines Adding Cancun to New Orleans Schedule - 3/19/2015 -

(NEW ORLEANS, LA) The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is pleased to announce that United Airlines will begin Saturday only non-stop service to Cancun, Mexico from New Orleans on May 9, 2015 through September 5, 2015 aboard a mix of 737-800 and 737-900 type aircraft with either 16 or 20 business-class seats and between 138 and 159 economy-class seating. The weekly flight will depart New Orleans at 8:33 a.m. and arrive in Cancun at 10:36 a.m. The Mexico departure will be at 11:31 a.m. and arrive in New Orleans at 1:37 p.m. Service is available for sale now. Reservations may be made at www.united.com or by calling Customer Service at 1-800-UNITED-1.

Schedule for other airlines serving Cancun is as follows:

  • Delta Air Lines: The weekly flight will depart New Orleans on Saturdays at 8:35 a.m. and arrive in Cancun at 10:23 a.m. The return flight will depart Cancun at 11:10 a.m. and arrive in New Orleans at 1:08 p.m.

  • Branson AirExpress operated by Orange Air: The flights will depart New Orleans on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 1:30 p.m. and arrive in Cancun at 3:15 p.m. The return flight will depart Cancun at 11:00 a.m. and arrive in New Orleans at 12:45 p.m. on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

  • Vacation Express: The flights will depart New Orleans on Sundays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 1:55 p.m. and arrive in Cancun at 3:55 p.m. The return flight will depart Cancun at 11:00 a.m. and arrive in New Orleans at 1:00 p.m.
