Beneficiaries
The City provides a $25,000 life insurance benefit for full-time employees. Please take this opportunity to make sure that your beneficiary information is current. Forms are available in Human Resources. The City’s retirement plan also requires that employees designate a beneficiary, please make sure that information is also current.
Outside Employment
Employees desiring to work outside of their Airport employment shall complete and submit an Outside Employer Authorization Form at https://www.nola.gov/chief-administrative-office/policies/policies/no-131-(r)-classified-employees-outside-employmen/no-131-(r)-attachment. Approval of the request by the Airport and the City’s Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) must be received for outside employment. If you are considering outside employment or failed to complete the required form, you must do so at this time.
Personal/Emergency Contact Information
The beginning of the year is a good time to update your personal and emergency contact information. Forms may be picked up in Human Resources. Employees are also requested to check and update their personal information on ADP (the City’s electronic payroll system) and United Healthcare www.myUHC.com.
