The Indulge MSY Guest Pass allows registered non-ticketed visitors can venture past the security checkpoint to eat, shop and spend more time with family and friends. The selection of shops range from local icons like Fleurty Girl and Dirty Coast to high-end brands like Brighton. Overview

The Indulge MSY Guest Pass Program is available 7 days a week.

Participants must exit the Sterile Area (the area past the Security Checkpoint) by 8 p.m.

Anyone 13 years or older needs a Guest Pass. All individuals 12 years and under do not need a Guest Pass if accompanied by an adult with a Guest Pass.

All participants aged 18 and younger must be accompanied by an adult with an Indulge MSY Guest Pass at all times.

Parking fees are at the participant’s expense.

This program can be ended at any time as required by the TSA.

Indulge MSY Guest Pass access is approved only for personal use; commercial or professional use is prohibited. The New Orleans Aviation Board (NOAB) and/or the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) may deny or revoke access at any time at its sole discretion.

Registration is available online here. Participants must scan a REAL ID or passport. Other contact information will also be gathered.

Participation is contingent upon approval through approved security protocols.

The Indulge MSY Guest Pass is non-transferrable and valid only on the date of issuance.

 

Security Check Point Access

Upon arrival at the airport, participants will then proceed to the TSA Checkpoint on Level 2 for screening.

Participants will use the General Boarding Lanes.

Participants are subject to the same security procedures for ticketed passengers. Security screening information can be found at www.tsa.gov.

What is the Indulge MSY Guest Pass Program?

This program allows members of the general public who are not flying that day to visit Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport and enjoy the amenities on the post-security side of the airport.

Indulge MSY Guest Pass is intended for personal use and to enable approved visitors to spend time with friends and family or shop and dine at the airport.

Any commercial or business use or any other uses not specifically listed here are expressly forbidden and could result in revocation of your approval to participate.

What hours may I enter the airport using Indulge MSY Guest Pass?

This program allows access to the post-security side of the airport to visitors who are not flying between the hours of 3:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. Participants must exit the sterile area at 8 p.m.

Under Indulge MSY Guest Pass Program, you can enter and exit the airport at any time during your registered day and program operating hours, however, if you depart the post-security area you will have to re-enter through security checkpoints, so please plan accordingly.

What if the security lines are long?

Priority will be granted to ticketed passengers, enabling them to board their flights promptly.

Individuals with the Indulge MSY Guest Pass may be required to wait before entering the checkpoint. The issuance of passes may be temporarily halted during peak travel periods or under special situations. Passes are NOT guaranteed.

How will my information be used?

To receive a Indulge MSY Guest Pass from the Airport to access post security, all Authorized Individuals, and any minors, meaning an individual 18 years of age or younger, will be required to provide certain personal information that triggers the need for an important Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Privacy Act Statement. All individuals should carefully read the TSA Privacy Act Statement below and consider the implications of providing their personal information. Additionally, information submitted to the New Orleans Aviation Board may be subject to public records requests.


TSA PRIVACY ACT STATEMENT

AUTHORITY: 49 U.S.C. § 114(f). PRINCIPAL PURPOSE(S): This information is collected by airport operators or their representatives in order to conduct checks of TSA’s Secure Flight watch lists on individuals who wish to access the Sterile Area at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport®, also known as MSY®, which is located beyond the screening checkpoint. TSA may receive this information from airport operators or their representatives in order to resolve suspected or actual matches to this database. ROUTINE USE(S): TSA may share this information with aircraft and airport operators, foreign air carriers, or appropriate Federal, State, or other agency regarding individuals who pose or are suspected of posing a risk to transportation or national security, or for other routine uses identified in TSA systems of records, DHS/TSA 019 Secure Flight Records. DISCLOSURE: Voluntary failure to furnish the requested information will result in your inability to access facilities located in the airport beyond the screening checkpoint.

How long will this program last?

MSY Indulge Guest Pass has no expected end date, however, the New Orleans Aviation Board (NOAB) has the right to cancel, suspend or modify the program at any time without prior notice.

Where do I sign up for an Indulge MSY Guest Pass?

Registration is available online here or in person at the Customer Service Desk on Level 1 Baggage Claim between Doors 2 and 3.

Why couldn't I select a specific date?

If you are unable select a specific date up to seven days before your visit, it means that the quota of visitors for that day has already been met.

We encourage you to consider visiting on an alternate day. To do so, simply submit a new application within seven days of your intended visit.

What forms of identification are accepted?

Only REAL IDs and passports are valid for use with an Indulge MSY Guest Pass. This includes licenses issued by other states, U.S. and international passports and digital IDs.

What items can I bring with me?

Those participating in the Indulge MSY Guest Pass Program are subject to the same security screening regulations as passenger boarding an airplane.  All items prohibited in carry-on baggage, including but not limited to liquids, aerosols and gels above 3.4 oz, apply to everyone using the Indulge MSY Guest Pass for access.  Please review the list of TSA prohibited items.  Please bring only one personal items such as a purse or small bag through the security checkpoint.

The TSA or New Orleans Aviation Board reserves the right to revoke the Indulge MSY Guest Pass from any individual who may pose a security risk, a risk to any passenger or customer, and/or violates any of the rules and regulations of the airport.

Can I use Indulge MSY Guest Pass with CLEAR or TSA PreCheck?

No, Indulge MSY Guest Pass cannot be used with either of these special access programs.

Can I meet passengers who are arriving on an international flight?

Meeting International arrivals is prohibited using the Indulge MSY Guest Pass. If you are meeting a friend or family member arriving internationally, please join them at the exit of US Customs on Level 1 near Door 1.

Should I request an Indulge MSY Guest Pass to meet an unaccompanied minor arriving on a flight?

No, arrangements for picking up an unaccompanied minor from a flight should be coordinated directly with the airline.

Can minors use Indulge MSY Guest Pass?

All participants aged 18 and younger must be accompanied by an adult with an Indulge MSY Guest Pass at all times.

How do we apply for a family or group?

Every non-traveling visitor must complete the online application and be approved.

Minors without valid photo IDs must also apply and be accompanied by an adult who has also been approved for an Indulge MSY Guest Pass.

What about accessibility and wheelchair assistance?

We strive to make your experience as easy, safe and comfortable as possible at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY). We have various amenities for travelers of all backgrounds, including adult changing tables, Service Animal Relief Areas, and more.

At this time, wheelchairs and wheelchair attendants to push wheelchairs are not available with the Indulge MSY Guest Pass program as they are an amenity of the airlines. However, participants are welcome to enter the checkpoints with their own wheelchairs or mobility aids when using the pass.

Can I leave the airport and come back later in the day?

Yes, but please note if you depart the post-security area you will have to re-enter through security checkpoints and must exit the sterile area by 8 p.m.

Where should I park?

Indulge MSY Guest Pass participants have the flexibility to park in any of our parking garages or lots. Guests are responsible for covering the associated parking costs.

I am a badged airport employee. Can I use Indulge MSY Guest Pass?

Indulge MSY Guest Pass access is approved only for personal use; commercial or professional use is prohibited. The New Orleans Aviation Board (NOAB) and/or the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) may deny or revoke access at any time at its sole discretion.

For airport-badged personnel, the program cannot be used as an alternative for security clearance when arriving for work in the airport areas beyond security. Failure to adhere to these terms may lead to the imposition of a fine and revocation of badged access.
