Security Checkpoint Improvements

Project Description:

As part of an overall terminal enhancement program, the TSA security checkpoint will undergo improvements.  The existing glass doors separating public from secure areas will be replaced with mechanized overhead door systems.  This will allow ease-of-use for operations and security staff.  Additionally, the exit lanes will be upgraded with Exit Lane Breach Detection systems, which  consists of one-way doors allowing one individual to exit at a time.

This project will start construction in July 2026 and will be completed by June 2027.
