The Louis Armstrong New Orleans Airport got some help from traditional Mardi Gras Indian Queen Tahj Williams, local performer Dancing Man 504, and actor Bryan Batt to remind the public of some of the key steps MSY is taking to provide a safe travel experience.


Crews continue working to keep MSY cleaned and sanitized to protect our employees and guests. Thirty new hand sanitizer stations have also been installed throughout the terminal to help prevent the spread of germs.

The Louis Armstrong New Orleans Airport got some help from musicians Kermit Ruffins, Robin Barnes, and Big Freedia, the talented Dancing Man, and actor Bryan Batt to remind the public of some of the key steps MSY is taking to provide a safe travel experience.


Crews are working hard to keep the terminal clean and sanitized for employees and passengers. To help protect yourself and others, we encourage you to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds and sing along while you do. Wash your hands, waaaaaash your hands. Physical distancing of at least six feet is recommended throughout the terminal.

 
Decals and signage have been installed as a reminder for guests to keep the proper distance between themselves and others.

Face coverings or masks are required to be worn throughout the terminal–just make sure it’s the right kind of mask!

 

Plexiglass barriers have also been installed at several airline ticket counters, gate hold podiums and other key locations to provide a shield between the public and employees.
