NEW ORLEANS -The Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) announced that Aviation Director Kevin Dolliole was named Biz New Orleans magazine’s 2019 CEO of the Year. Dolliole was highlighted on the cover of the publication’s January 2020 issue among a list of thirteen top transformative leaders who have been changing the business landscape of the Greater New Orleans region.
The article states, “….we honor the clear man of the hour, the person responsible for delivering the region the airport it deserves. One can’t help but feel proud to have such a welcome mat greeting visitors to our fine city and welcoming us all back home again.”
“It is an honor to be recognized by Biz New Orleans as CEO of the Year,” said Kevin Dolliole. “I’m extremely proud of what our team at the Airport accomplished last year. This was the largest infrastructure project to impact this region since the Superdome, and this community will benefit from this facility for generations to come.”
With over 40 years of combined experience in the airline and airport industries, Dolliole has a wealth of aviation knowledge. Dolliole has served as Director of Airports at St. Louis Lambert International Airport and Aviation Director at San Antonio International Airport, and has previously served in several executive positions at the New Orleans Airport, including Acting Director of Aviation before returning as Director of Aviation in 2017.
MSY recently completed construction and moved all 16 airlines to its new, 972,000 square-foot terminal featuring three concourses, 35 gates, two new parking garages, a surface parking lot next to the terminal and a remote economy garage with shuttle service. It was built with the passenger experience in mind, and features a consolidated checkpoint through which all passengers have access to more than 40 different food and retail concessions once beyond security.

- Outlets in 50 percent of seats in the gate areas
- 11 water bottle refilling stations post security
- Three Mothers Rooms
- Fully automated restrooms with sanitary seat covers

- Three curbside check-in locations with easy access to the Short Term Garage
