Beginning Aug. 7, 2018, Southwest Airlines will add one additional daily flight from New Orleans to Los Angeles. This increases the number of daily flights to three on this route.
Southwest is also set to add an additional frequency to nine other destinations it already serves starting in March 2018 including Atlanta-ATL, Austin-AUS, Las Vegas-LAS, Kansas City-MCI, Chicago-MDW, Phoenix-PHX, St. Louis-STL, Dallas-DAL, Orlando-MCO.
Last year, the carrier announced service to two new non-stop destinations, Sacramento (SMF) and San Jose (SJC), as well as its very first international flight from New Orleans to Cancun (CUN), all scheduled to begin with one weekly frequency in April 2018.
